A dolphin was seen swimming in the Liffey River in Dublin on Wednesday.
A number of people turned to social media to share videos of the dolphin, especially around North Wall Wharf and the Butt Bridge.
The Dublin Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (DSPCA) said that they spoke to a Marine Animal Rescue member.
"The weather is affecting his sonar, he should go home alone, but the situation will be monitored the next day," he added.
