Red alert! Red alert! All hands at the battle stations, we are embarked! You hear that the horns are starting to ring all around you. An explosion shakes your ship that overthrows you from your post. It was a Klingon attack on the outer colonies. The Klingons want to grab space and attack at the stellar base. This is our review for Star Trek Fleet Command.
From DIGPRM Games, LLC, Star Trek Fleet Command. Fleet Command is a strategy game in the same vein as Clash of Clans, in which you build your air base (city) and upgrade your ships with officers, new weapons and technologies, and build new, bigger ships at as you progress. The game has several different aspects that make it fun, as well as some things that would be better for my type of game Trek. We will discuss some of these points now.
So when you start the game, you are projected into a tutorial with a base ship. They will explain how to create your base, how to move on the map, how to attack targets and everything you need to know to start immediately. For the base building, you have areas reserved for mineral processing plants, command, research and development and suspension of your fleet. Begin by leveling some of your buildings to begin the process of upgrading your space base to get the best ships and technologies available. There is a search tree available once you have built your base to a certain level, and research is the only way to actually get the opportunity to switch to new ships. You need to get their drawings through research to build the most beautiful vessels like the Enterprise and other racing vessels.
When it comes to improving your ship, you must upgrade parts to level it yourself. You can upgrade your shields, chain drive, and pulsed energy weapons on the first ship. This will help you progress at the beginning of the game until you start your search process to get your second ship, then your third, and so on. To improve the level of your ship, you will need experience points, gained by fighting enemy NPCs. To improve your ship's pieces, you will need to purchase explorer pieces. These are also obtained by fighting.
Regarding battles, you will want to make sure that the strength of your attack is stronger than that of the ship you are attacking. When you hit the enemy ship, you have the option to scan it or attack it. The badysis of the ship allows you to see its strength and defense as opposed to your strength and your defense. It also tells you the potential benefits you will reap by destroying the enemy. The displacement system is also easy enough to reach your targets. Just touch the target on the screen and click OK. This will take you to the enemy and you can then attack. It works the same way with trips to other planets.
This game has missions based on stories that are based on Kelvin Timeline movies and you are basically a free agent. This means that you are not affiliated with anyone and that you will perform missions for Romulans, Klingons and other races throughout your journey. You will quickly discover that your crew also looks like people from the Kelvin Universe. Open it and take a look at the officers as you fill your crew to give bonuses to your ship.
You certainly do not need to play this game alone either. Fleets are available to reach you. Whether you want to join a pre-existing fleet or create your own, the choice is yours. If you have friends, create your own fleet so that you can have fun together. There are also bonuses and market items that you can buy with enough money in your fleet. Talking about the market, there are crates in the game but you do not need to buy them. These cases of which I speak are free cases. One for every 10 minutes. One for every 4 hours, and there is more when you go up. I saw a 24 hour case at this point.
Overall, for Star Trek games, it's really different from most games I'm used to. Star Trek Starfleet Academy and Starfleet Command being two of my favorite games, this one adopts a Clash of Clans perspective that is fun and gives you a good story to play. The game is available for iOS and Android devices. Do you have what it takes to build your fleet and your air base? Come join me in the fun.
