A 19-year-old motorcyclist was killed in an accident near Mallow last night.
Gardaí investigates the fatal crash in Knockane, Ballyclough, Mallow, involving a car and a motorcycle at 7:30 pm yesterday.
The biker was declared dead at the scene and his body was transported to Cork University Hospital, where an autopsy will take place.
The driver of the car, a man in his early 70s, was not injured.
Forensic investigators remained on the scene this morning and the road was closed with local detours in place.
