You may soon have the opportunity to try BioWare's new Destiny-esque action game, Anthem. EA has announced an upcoming closed alpha test and registrations for it are now online.
As stated on the EA website, the test will be fairly brief: it will run from December 8 to 9, although it is available on the three platforms of the game: PS4, Xbox One and PC . The test will not be available during the whole two days, it will be replaced by "multiple sessions" spread over the weekend.
Regarding the goal of the alpha, EA explains: "This is an opportunity for you to watch Anthem, but we will also adjust tasks such as match organization and server load on the fly. These community tests are more limited than what we want to share. the pre-launch demos. All of these factors combined mean that we limit access to our playtests, from where the "closed" part of the name comes from. "
Registrations are now online and you can register your interest here. Access is not guaranteed simply by signing up and you will need a PlayStation Plus or Xbox Live Gold subscription on PS4 and Xbox One, respectively. When you record your interest, you need to choose the platforms and time windows you want to participate in.
Participants will be bound by a confidentiality agreement. This means that, except in case of a leak, you should not expect to see players share thoughts, screenshots or videos of the alpha test.
If you do not enter, this will not mark your only chance to try the game before its launch. EA and BioWare plan to offer a demo of Anthem next year, and EA / Origin Access members will likely have access to their usual limited access at the beginning. Its complete release is scheduled for February 22.
Outside Hymn, BioWare is working on the future of Mbad Effect. He also just said that the news of Dragon Age is very soon.
