A Dublin school filmed a charming music video featuring The Greatest Showman's music as she worked against all odds to complete it.

Gaelscoil Eiscir Riada in Lucan was one of the schools affected by the scandal of safety in schools this year.

Although their school quickly became a construction site, teachers and students worked together to create a magical tale in time for Christmas.

"Mile Grá" is a Gaeilge version of "A Million Dreams" from The Greatest Showman, as well as "Your Song" by Elton John and teacher Katie Boyle says the result shows their "spirit of" 39; school. "

"We have been working on the song since September and we had a plan in place to record it in our school's garden the following week," Ms. Boyle said.

"Halfway through, we discovered that our school was on the list of buildings affected by the Western Construction Incident.

"Obviously, a music video was removed from the list of priorities because the eight clbades and teachers on the upper floor of the school had to be reinstalled.

"Currently, we are divided into prefabs and rooms of two neighboring schools.

"We decided to go ahead with the recording to try to keep morale – a difficult feat as the school garden is endowed with a security fence and a scaffold. "

115 students from first to sixth grade were involved and the film was filmed last week.

"My colleague Eamon and I, who directs music in this school, have made progress and with the help of the school's parents and our outstanding staff, we managed last Thursday," said Ms. Boyle.

Under a beautiful clear night and full moon, we recorded the video in the middle of fences and scaffolding!
