Who is Maria Teresa Turrion Borrallo

Maria Teresa Turrion Borrallo was born in Madrid, Spain, but grew up in the city of Palencia and has been living in the UK for two decades. Today, she lives with the Royal Family in her 21-room, 21-room 1A apartment located at Kensington Palace. She has worked for other well-known couples, including Mick Jagger and his ex-wife, Jerry Hall., and it is said that he is 100% dedicated to the family who employs him.

Borrallo has three brothers and sisters: Pablo Borrallo, Luis Borrallo and Ignacio Borrallo. She has never been married or had children, but she is a child care expert and graduated from Norland College's prestigious nanny school.

Nicknamed the "super-nanny", Borrallo is trained in Taekwondo. She avoids paparazzi, anti-terrorism training and driving in extreme weather conditions to protect herself and the children when she accompanies them.

She teaches Spanish to children

As she comes from Spain, Borrallo teaches Spanish to the little royal family.

In May 2017, during a visit to Wick Court in Gloucestershire, Middleton revealed that George already knew the basics of the language and that Charlotte could also talk about it.

"His son George can already count to 10 in Spanish," told the Telegraph a 9-year-old who spoke to the Duchess.

When Borrallo started working for the family

Borrallo, in his forties, started working for the royal family in 2014.

She joined the family of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge in March of the same year, even before Prince George was even a year old. Borrallo made his first public appearance in the family when Prince and Middleton brought George on their tour to Australia and New Zealand.

People reported that she was taking care of little George when her parents had formal commitments and had been greeted by Maori at the Government House.

She is not allowed to hit one of the children

If there is one thing Borrallo absolutely can not do, it's the children's strike and that order was given to her even before she started working for the Prince and Middleton.

Nannies attending Norland College learn that bad the children they care about is not an acceptable form of punishment. According to the Express, graduates are "warned that those who use corporal punishment will be struck off".

Louise Heren, who co-authored a book on Norland's nannies, added that "they will never slam … A child is never mean, but his behavior is too."
