The invention of a German engineering student: four retractable springs that s & # 39; activate when the device is in free fall. Soon a SIMONE COSIMI
broke SCREENS, expensive smartphones, perhaps paid hundreds of euros, compromises for a moment of inattention. And no protective film or film that can reduce the damage too much. None until today. Up, that is ADcase, where 'ad' is means active depreciation : this is a smart smartphone equipped with an airbag system. Or something similar.

· THE DETRUCTION OF IPHONE
The inventor Philip Frenzel a German engineering student, and by essence Adcase goes out of the arms of bumper when the phone is about to fall. The legs cushion the impact much more than anything and especially prevent, at least in part, the contact of the device with the ground. Frenzel won us a prize awarded by the German mechatronics company and, as often happens with similar ideas, says that the idea came from a personal experience: an iPhone destroyed to be slipped from the pocket from a jacket. Never recovered because it was not just a problem with the display.
· SENSORS AND ZAMPETTE
From that moment, the ingenious German student began to think about a safer way to protect his salty smartphone. Its ADcase is equipped with sensors that can understand when the phone is, so to speak, in free fall. At this moment, very quickly, triggers a series of retractable legs, essentially the metal springs, hitherto hidden at the four corners inside the case. The dampers open and allow the phone to land in a less traumatic way.
· PROTOTYPE OF FALL SAVINGS
Obviously, it is a prototype that could soon land on the market, as told in the online preview. The patent is badured and a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter is expected to begin in July. The official website is ready and the first versions of the airbag for the smartphone should be reserved for the latest iPhone models, from 6/6 Plus to X released last year.
