Core i3-8100H, a new processor for laptops

[ad_1]

Intel has expanded the range of the Coffee Lake series H processors for the portable world with a model called the Core i3-8100H. This CPU is added to a lineup introduced in April, which was actually missing from a Core i3

The New Arrival offers 4 cores, is without Hyper-Threading and has a frequency of 3 GHz (OEMs can reduce it up to 2.6 GHz). Compared to the Core i5, like the 8300H and the 8400H, there is also 2 MB of L3 cache, so it goes from 8 MB to 6 MB. The integrated graphics remain unchanged, which remains the "usual" HD Graphics 630, working between 350 and 1000 MHz.

The processor has a TDP of 45 watts, configurable down (due to the frequency reduction mentioned above) up to 35 watts. The DDR4-2666 and LPDDR3-2133 memory media complete the technical specifications. More details can be found on the ARK page on the Intel website

Playing with the notebook is a practice more and more common, but it also serves the right material. This MSI gaming laptop is a good compromise between performance and price.
