Goodwood, Maserati unveils the Levante GTS V8 and the 2019 lineup

Quick weekend in England. Here, Goodwood becomes the showcase of the new 2019 range of Casa del Tridente, with the world premiere of the SUV Levante GTS V8 and the version Levante Trofeo .

The new Levante GTS V8 maintains the 90 ° V configuration of the 3.8-liter 3-cylinder engine with dual turbocharger but has been redesigned to accommodate the intelligent four-wheel drive Q4 . Produced in Maranello, Ferrari, the V8 develops a power of 550 hp and a powerful maximum torque of 730 Nm between 2500 and 5000 rpm . The performance is impressive for a sport utility: 292 km / h speed and acceleration from 0 to 100 in 4.2 seconds! An important novelty, which also concerns the 2017 Ghibli and Quattroporte models, is the 8-speed ZF gearbox, which can now be operated automatically and manually by simply moving the lever from right to left. On the lever the new key "P" was inserted to easily put the transmission in parking mode

Beside the Levante GTS V8 Q4, Maserati also brought Goodwood the GranSport coupling from Suv 2019 characterized by the integrated Vehicle Control System (IVC) in series and optional Full LED matrix headlamps. The restyling shared with Ghibli and Quattroporte introduces new body colors, new wheels of 20 and 21 inches and the Orione 22 "forged in refined aluminum, but also the leather interior exclusive "Full Flower" . An inimitable leather, very soft, available in three colors: black, leather and red, with matching stitching on the seats. Finally, the infotélématique system Maserati Touch Control Plus has been refined, with the update of the display graphics.
