Google's fight against spam continues. After the automatic system for detecting spam calls, a feature that has already appeared in April in the beta version is finally available to everyone: transfer to the spam call desk .

Now all incoming calls from numbers already identified by Google as spam will automatically be forwarded to your voicemail. Not only that, but the user will in no way be warned : the phone will not play (or vibrate), you will not receive the notification of Call lost and you will not receive the informative SMS which indicates the presence of a new message to the secretariat

But do not worry, your incoming call will be still included in the incoming call list so that if you were to serve you, you would still have the number available. Of course, if the user does not choose to control this list, the calls will always be ignored.

For to activate the function all you have to do is go into the Phone application settings and choose the voice Caller ID and spam . Inside you will find the option Spam Filter for Calls .

If you find a number indicated as spam that is actually "benign", you can report it to Google choose the corresponding option from the list of calls. More information can also be found on the dedicated support page.
