Before the eyes of the pilot, there is an instrumentation with speedometer and badog tachometer, accompanied by a rich display : on the top row (the info scrolls by pressing on button A on the left handlebar) you can read the trip time counter, the A and B trips, the average consumptions A and B. On the center line (B key), instead, count km, remaining range and instant consumption. Very important is also the lower line, because in addition to the ambient temperature also appears the battery voltage: so, you can keep an eye on the charge of the accumulator, which could be called at work due from start and stop . The engine stop works indeed so, for short stops, you might even forget to remove the ignition. The Honda Force 125 2018 also offers the Keyless Go which, for the first time, also allows to control the closing of the top case (as on the Forza 300). Built in the Italian factory Atessa, the Forza 125 2018 is the only eighth Honda to have a four-valve engine capable of 15 hp at 8500 rpm and 12.5 Nm at 8,250 rpm. More than the maximum speed, 108 km / h, to hit is the declared consumption: thanks to the 11,5 liters of the tank and to 42,7 km / l, this Force can make nearly 500 km with a full tank .

How it goes

The points of contact with the previous model are numerous. The Forza 125 still looks like a larger cubature scooter to such an extent that one could easily trade it with a 150. Beyond simplicity of use in all situations (from the city to the extra-urban, by way of highway, which in France, place of the test, is allowed to the eighth of a liter) still affects comfort with a well-sized saddle even for two and superior aerodynamic protection. You can not even complain about the spring, adapted to the segment, and braking, with the right bite. Of course, the platform is still split in two by the generous central tunnel where the fuel filler is hidden, but it's certainly not new. And then the driving position, a more active thread but without becoming uncomfortable, like that. One has the impression that the single cylinder has a greater propensity to relay itself than, for example, that of the PCX 125 but the best quality remains the excellent marriage with the transmission, always soft, and an extension of all respect. What is the problem? More than defects, it's worth talking about limits. Two, specifically. The first is due to the ban on highways and byways of the 125 cc: when they will eliminate it, Italy will be a better country (a little). The second is hidden in the house and responds to the name of SH125i: with a wheel high like that, which costs 1,650 euros less, the market has already made its choice.

How much does it cost

In a sense it's a shame, because the 2018 Honda Force 125 is a real champion of the economy: during our test around Nice, in the city, in the suburbs and on highway, consumption the medium never exceeded 2.5 l / 100 km or 40 km / l Of course, the price list is not exactly updated: Force 125 2018 costs 5,090 euros and is available in four colors: Black, Matt Carnelian Red Metallic, Matt Lucent Silver Metallic and Matt Pearl Cool White.
