The GPU Turbo feature introduced with the recent Honor Play, will also be available on Honor 10 from on July 30 . Chinese users will be able to purchase a specific version of the smartphone, called Honor 10 GT that offers the same features. This model is also the first of the manufacturer with 8GB of RAM and the AIS technology for the dual rear camera
Honor 10 GT is apparently identical to the standard model. They do not change the design and materials of the frame. Also unchanged the technical specifications (except for the largest amount of RAM): 5.84 inches IPS screen with notch and full resolution HD + (2280 × 1080 pixels), Kirin 970 octahip processor core with NPU ( Neural Processing Unit), 128GB of storage, dual 16 and 24 megapixel rear camera, 24 megapixel front camera, 802.11ac WiFi modules, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, NFC and LTE. Also introduce the USB Type-C port, the 3.5mm audio jack, the Hi-Fi audio chip and the 3,400mAh battery.
The two new features are software. The GPU Turbo Technology increases graphics performance up to 60% while reducing power consumption by up to 30%. AIS (AI Stabilization) allows you instead to automatically apply the best shooting settings to obtain clear images in low light conditions. GPU Turbo will be available in beta on July 15th, while the beta version of AIS will be released on July 12th. The two will arrive on Honor 10 later this month
The new Honor 10 GT will probably remain an exclusivity of the Chinese market. Sales will begin July 24th. The producer did not release the price, but a figure of should exceed 500 € whereas the version of Honor 10 with 4 GB of RAM costs 449.90 €
