An iPhone with 4GB of RAM onboard and the SoC A12 went through the famous GeekBench reference platform. It should be one of the smartphones that Apple will present at the September Keynote, certainly one of the models equipped with an OLED display, which also recorded scores that suggest in one way or another what could be the commercial strategy of Cupertino.
First of all, the smartphone in question is indicated with the "iPhone 11.2" nomenclature and the DP321AP serial number. As is easily understood, it is a non-definitive device, also taking into account the two months that separate us from the September Keynote. Through the data reported by the benchmark, you can see the presence of 4 GB of RAM a quantity that seems absolutely true compared to the two OLED models that will be presented by Apple.
In any case, regarding the CPU, this iPhone 11.2 totaled 4,673 points in single-core and 10,912 points in multi-core. A result not so far removed from the current iPhone X equipped with the A11 Bionic SoC, capable of scoring 4,238 points in single-core and 10,308 points in multi-core.

Different speeches for the graphics sector, in which there seems to be a 40% increase over the performance of the company. iPhone X (15,376 points against 21,691 points). In this sense, the SoC A12 should be able to rely on the second generation of Apple's proprietary GPU, after abandoning the PowerVR from A11 Bionic.
The feeling is that the "Cupertino company can push on the performance charts in the logic of the trend of" game smartphones " which, in recent months, has seen increasing attention from different manufacturers (think of devices like Xiaomi Black Shark, ASUS Rog phone, Razer phone, to name a few.)

In any case, beyond these aspects, the GeekBench database allows us to see what should be the technical characteristics of the A12 processor. We are talking about an ESA-core processor with a maximum frequency of 2.49 GHz and an L1 cache equal to 128 KB. An evolution of the A11 Bionic rather than a revolution, a bit like it should be for the transition from iOS 11 to iOS 12.

In addition, the Known 9to5Mac Portal also made a deepening using what appears to be images of the models of the iPhone 2018. There seems to be no doubt now that Apple introduces in September three new smartphones, with 5.8 inches of diagonal (OLED), 6, 5 inches (OLED) and 6.1 inches (LCD), with the latter which should represent the highly talked about economic iPhone.
In the images that you can see in the article, the models of the iPhone are shown from 6.5 and from version 6.1, put next to the iPhone Current X The economic model, as evidenced by the rumors, was made with a single rear camera, and it seems that it can be positioned from 700 dollars a figure certainly and relevant but still contained by compared to Apple standards.
The feeling is that the Cupertino company wants to try to intercept new market segments. On the one hand thanks to an iPhone with a lower starting price than the one recently seen, on the other side with a model of 6.5 inches which, thanks to this diagonal, could penetrate more easily in key markets such as Asia. The keynote of September will solve all these doubts
