iPhone 2018, 4GB of RAM and a lot of graphics power

An iPhone with 4GB of RAM onboard and the SoC A12 went through the famous GeekBench reference platform. It should be one of the smartphones that Apple will present at the September Keynote, certainly one of the models equipped with an OLED display, which also recorded scores that suggest in one way or another what could be the commercial strategy of Cupertino.

As is easily understood, it is a non-definitive device, also taking into account the two months that separate us from the September Keynote. Through the data reported by the benchmark, you can see the presence of 4 GB of RAM a quantity that seems absolutely true compared to the two OLED models that will be presented by Apple.

In any case, regarding the CPU, this iPhone 11.2 totaled 4,673 points in single-core and 10,912 points in multi-core. A result not so far removed from the current iPhone X equipped with the A11 Bionic SoC, capable of scoring 4,238 points in single-core and 10,308 points in multi-core.

In any case, beyond these aspects, the GeekBench database allows us to see what should be the technical characteristics of the A12 processor. We are talking about an ESA-core processor with a maximum frequency of 2.49 GHz and an L1 cache equal to 128 KB. An evolution of the A11 Bionic rather than a revolution, a bit like it should be for the transition from iOS 11 to iOS 12.
