According to a recent report from the specialized blog Thurrott, Microsoft will develop two consoles to be released in 2020. The first would be a traditional console, with hardware updated from that of ] Xbox One and Xbox One X . The second, codenamed " Scarlett Cloud ", will be based entirely on the officially announced streaming service during E3 2018 .

Thurrott also reports that Microsoft would have bypbaded the clbadic latency problem of cloud games by comparing it more to that of a multiplayer game.
