HDM Global announced the arrival of Whatsapp, Facebook and Youtube on KaiOS-based devices – operating system installed on the Nokia 8110 4G – during the presentation event from the JiPhone 2. To make all more interesting is the arrival of the feature phone on the Italian market at the price of 89 euros, about 20 euros more than the new version of the Nokia 3110.
The revised version of Nokia 8110 was presented at the Mobile World Congress 2018, as we were able to tell you in our previous article. The presence of a true operating system (KaiOS) with smart features and a 4G connection had already marked a step forward compared to the traditional concept of feature phones.
Regarding the datasheet, Nokia 8110 is based on the Snapdragon 205 SoC coupled with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal memory. On the back we find a 2MP camera, while the QGVA screen has a diagnostic equal to 2.4 inches. Everything is powered by a 1500 mAh battery.

The aesthetic peculiarity of this device is the curvature of the body, thanks to a sled mechanism that protects the physical keyboard. Finally, there is Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, micro-USB port, 3.5mm audio jack and the ability to share the 4G Internet connection using the phone as a Wi-Fi hotspot.
The arrival of Whatsapp, Facebook and Youtube on KaiOS makes this camera much more interesting. There is still no information on when these applications will actually be available for Nokia 8110 (for the moment there is official confirmation only for Whatsapp), but that should only be a matter of time.
