Sony had presented his predecessor at IFA 2017 in Berlin. The Japanese manufacturer did not wait for the 2018 edition of the German event to announce the new Xperia XA2 Plus a mid-range smartphone that completes the series dedicated to entertainment, which includes Xperia XA2 and Xperia XA2 Ultra. There are very few differences in terms of design and technical specifications compared to the latter.

The Sony Xperia XA2 Plus looks rather stylish and fun to watch. The anodized aluminum frame wraps around the curved sides of the smartphone, while the edges of the upper and lower ends have been accurately cut on the diamond, also creating pleasant glints of light. The main differences from the Ultra model are represented by the screen with the aspect ratio 18: 9 and the reduced thickness of the frames. This allowed to keep the same viewing surface and improve the ergonomics.
Indeed, the dimensions are slightly lower (157x75x9.6 mm against 163x80x9.5 mm), so it is possible to use it with one hand. In any case, there is a screen reduction mode that allows you to set a smaller interface for easy typing. Users can choose from four original colors: silver, black, gold and green.

The Sony Xperia XA2 Plus has a 6-inch screen protected by Gorilla Glbad 5, with Full HD + resolution (2160 × 1080 pixels) . The Sony Xperia XA2 Plus will be available in Italy from the month of September also in dual SIM version. The price has not been communicated. For comparison, the Sony Xperia XA2 Ultra costs 429.90 euros at the time of launch on the market, so the Plus model will certainly have a price below 400 euros.
