This endless moment, where the smartphone is slipping away from us and helplessly we can not help but watch it as it approaches the ground and hope that the impact will not cause any harm . No crack on the screen or worse yet, no deadly dysfunction. We have all experienced it at least once, but maybe there is a solution and it comes from Germany where an engineering student, Philip Frenzel, designed the cover-airbag
still just a prototype, it's called ADcase and has already conquered the jury of the German mechatronics company. The cover is apparently the same as many others but when the smartphone falls to the ground, eight metal springs sprout at the corners – two for each, in opposite directions – to protect it from impact. Also because, despite the more expensive models equipped with very resistant glbad screens, these also have weaknesses that, if they are struck with intensity, create cracks all over the surface. The project will soon land – in July – on Kickstarter in search of funds.
