Twitter loses users and collapses on the stock market

Twitter loses a million users and the stock market punishes the social network by collapsing the stock. The number of monthly users is one of the indicators used to evaluate the health of a platform. Twitter for too long has struggled to return to growth and the results of its last quarter are rather negative on one of the most important indicators for a social network. In the last quarter, active users were 336 million. According to new data, users fell to 335 million euros. The bleeding may not even be complete and it is the social network itself that claims it

The cause of this decline, in fact, is mainly due to the battle of the social network against the bots and fake accounts. The mbadive elimination of these accounts weighs heavily on the overall account. In fact, it can also be said that the deleted accounts were wrong and it is therefore good that they were deleted because the platform will now be safer and less prone to spam. It also means that Twitter, in fact, has lost a number of real users far less than the million accounts actually lost. Unfortunately, these false accounts have been recorded in past financial statements as "good", which shows that badysts and investors are not really real. That's why the cold shower came from the stock markets.

The company therefore made investors believe that it had more users than those who actually owned them. To compensate for this bad news, the social network claims that daily users increased by 11% over last year. Even the budgets have improved, exceeding badysts' estimates. With the increase in advertising, Twitter has achieved a net profit of $ 100 million. This is the third consecutive positive quarter from an economic point of view

Figures certainly positive and encouraging for the future, but data on monthly active users have weighed too much on the valuation of shareholders. The social network, however, will not stop working to make the platform safer and return to increase the number of active monthly users.
