The kidnapper accused of Jayme Closs may be considering pleading guilty. In a letter to KARE 11 TV in Minneapolis, Jake Patterson announced his intention to plead guilty because he did not want Closs's family to go to trial. Patterson sent the letter in response to the two previous letters from journalist Lou Ragusa asking him to talk about the case. Patterson's counsel could neither confirm nor deny that the letter had been sent by Patterson, stating that he had not told him about it. Patterson's next appearance will be on March 27.
