Jenna Dewan struggled without Channing Tatum after welcoming their daughter into their life.

The former couple, who share their eight-year-old child Everly, were unable to be together shortly after the birth of their daughter due to the actor’s work commitments.

The 40-year-old opened up about her experience on the Dear Gabby podcast, where she noted that it was “really difficult” without him being by her side early in her parenthood.

She said, “I had to travel with her and at the time Chan was not available to be with us for the most part. So it was me, my doula and Evie traveling alone at six weeks old.

Dewan noted that although she kept Everly close to her while she worked, her stress level did not improve.

“It was really difficult because it was long hours. I had him on set with me all the time… It was really, really difficult, ”she said.

The Soundtrack actress also admitted that she also had to deal with emotional issues after the birth of her daughter at the time.

She added, “And I had a lot of postpartum anxiety, I would say. It was as if I had never stopped.

The former Witches Of East End actress has also said that she is constantly trying to find a balance between her new role as a mother and her professional commitments.

“You know, you wake up several times at night and you work all day. I was breastfeeding, pumping, I had no partner, I mean, it was just crazy, ”she recalls.

Dewan and Tatum, 41, were first romantically linked after starring in the romantic dance film Step Up in 2006.

However, the two announced that they separated in 2018, and they finalized their divorce the following year.
