The Minnesota Timberwolves' center Karl-Anthony Towns is uncertain for Friday's game in New York against the Knicks after a car accident in the Minneapolis area.
The Star Tribune announced that Towns had gone to the airport on Thursday while he was involved in the accident. Coach Ryan Saunders told reporters that the cities had taken a commercial flight after the crash and missed the shoot.
Saunders said he did not have information about specific wounds in Towns. Goalkeeper Tyus Jones told the Star Tribune that he had seen Towns before the shoot and that it was going well.
"Rest" was among the reasons cities were questionable in the official injury report. Now in his fourth season, the 23-year-old has never missed a game, having started the 303 games of his career.
The 7-foot average is 23.1 points and 12.0 rebounds per game.
It was not immediately clear where the crash occurred. The Minneapolis police said it was not handling any incidents involving cities.
