Our social media activist, writer and anti-government physician, Stella Nyanzi was taken to Naguru Hospital. This followed an arrest that led to unconsciousness. The lady collapsed and was transferred with the help of a Ugandan police vehicle. We learned this from a social media message by Saasi Marvin, his lawyer, who currently runs his social media pages.

] It is unfortunate that she lost her precious Canon EOS 1100D camera that had cherished photographs of her family, images, and pictures of Saturday's # WomensMarchUg event as well as of the demonstration SocialMediaTa x of the day at Buganda Road Court
The camera was found missing after Dr. Stella's bag in which she was kept was returned more later by one of the alleged policewomen who had been ordered to bring Dr. Stella into the police truck who took her to Naguru hospital.
We are very upset by the inhuman nature in which Ms. Stella was treated by police officers who have a duty to respect her physical integrity, in addition to protecting her and her property. "ed
