The car will hit the track.

This is the shocking moment when a rally car hit a group of spectators at a rally in Uganda.

Busiika's mobile phone sequence in Kampala shows how a number of pbadersby were hit by the car that skidded uncontrollably.

According to local media reports, one person was confirmed dead and about 10 others were injured after being "crushed".

The new footage seems to show that the driver is struggling to control the car that has hit a lump and has escaped control to the right of a tree.

No protective measures seemed to be in place to prevent the vehicle from getting off the track and crashing into the edge of the runway.

Dozens of people escaped when the car headed towards them – but many were unlikely to escape its trajectory when she headed towards them.

The pictures show how people rushed to their rescue despite cries of astonishment – and people whistling to the sound of audio.

People run to shelter when the car stops.

A number of people were seen lying on the floor while people smothered them with sheets for the apparent purpose of cooling them.

A person on the scene wrote on Twitter: "Three rally fans in Busika have been overthrown by a rally car that has lost control."

Another account wrote: "Rally fans are trying to help their counterparts who have been crushed by a race car in Busiika.

"The rally car lost control and hit the fans nearby."
