A fundraising page has been created to help raise funds for Libby Squire's funeral.

Jodie Preece, a 33-year-old paramedicist working in Hull, is one of many who have set up crowdfunding pages to bring Hull together to pay for the 21-year-old's funeral.

Meanwhile, established pages continue to collect thousands of pounds of donations as Hull mobilizes to help Libby Squire's family.

The last time Libby was seen alive in the early hours of Friday, February 1 after being fired from the Welly nightclub at Beverley Road, seven weeks of research ended tragically Wednesday when her body was found near Spurn Point.

The GoFundMe and JustGiving pages set up at the beginning of February, at the start of the survey, totaled over £ 10,000, but the recent influx of grief has resulted in a new injection of funds to support the Squire family.

A friend from Libby's hometown, High Wycombe, has created a page to help the family by covering hotel bills or other types of support. It reached £ 4,500 in mid-February, but has now exceeded its £ 5,000 target.

A second page, set up by a man from Hull, generated more than £ 7,000, far exceeding his initial goal of £ 500.

In the meantime, Mrs. Preeece from Hessle Road has set up another page and wants to help Libby's parents "help her put her to rest".

The page has raised nearly £ 200, but aims to raise around £ 300 more to ease the burden of burial for their daughter.

"We have all followed her story and it's not knowing that it really brings me," she said. "What has pushed me to do it, is that I know what it is like to be away from home and how Hull helped me."

"I found Hull a very welcoming city full of good-hearted people.

"I wanted to do something to help him to rest. To say goodbye to Hull and for the family. I wanted to do something about Hull. "
