A flight from the United States to Europe was diverted to Dublin Airport due to a medical emergency.
United Airlines flight UA960 was nearing the end of its trip between Newark (New Jersey) and Frankfurt (Germany) when it was headed to Dublin.
While he was heading to the UK, he declared an emergency and was forced to turn away, reports Dublin Live
The incident occurred just after 6:20 am Wednesday when he turned while he was arriving on Ayr in Scotland.
After crossing the sea of Ireland, he finally landed in Dublin shortly before 6:50.
It is understood that a pbadenger was taken to the hospital after the aircraft had been greeted by medical personnel.
Another pbadenger on the flight said that the plane was refueling before the last leg of the trip to Frankfurt.
Dublin Live has contacted United Airlines for a comment.
