The terms of the partnership have not been disclosed.

Online shopping is gaining popularity in Kenya as buyers seek to buy products in the comfort of their homes, as well as the growing use of smart phones, said Carrefour in a statement seen on Thursday by Reuters.

Carrefour Group partners in West and Central Africa, CFAO, have also signed commercial agreements for the sale of their products on the Jumia platform in Côte d'Ivoire, Cameroon and Senegal, he added. .
