Chimamanda Adichie wears another diploma

The Nigerian writer Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie received an honorary doctorate from the prestigious Duke University in Durham, North Carolina.

Journalists report that the novel born novelist and non-fiction writer shared photos of the ceremony of honor. She has been among the few recipients of the honorary degree from the university and they have all been described as "people who make changes in the world in a very broad way."

Earlier in March, his book Americanah "was recognized as one of 15 remarkable books by women shaping the way fiction was written and read in the 21st century. .

Adichie had been featured separately in The New York Times, including being part of the magazine's "Greats" list in 2017.
