Did Jaguar use the Westlands photo to lie about a trip to Tanzania? Be the judge – Nairobi News

A photo shared by Starehe MP Charles Njagua, aka Jaguar, allegedly taken in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, caused a stir on social media.

Jaguar posted Thursday the photo that shows him leaning on the terrace of a high-rise building offering an aerial view of the surroundings.

"Hello from Dar es Salaam," said Jaguar.

The member even went on to say in an interview with the Dira of the BBC program that he was indeed in Dodoma, Tanzania.

The hawk-eyed Kenyans on Twitter, however, concluded that the photo was taken in Kenya and not in Tanzania as Jaguar claimed.

KOT used a photo posted by a user, Head Huncho, taken from a location with similar characteristics to determine that the Jaguar photo was taken in Westlands.

Me at the same place in the Westlands … Lol.#JaguarChallenge pic.twitter.com/8XNfRLRQo6

Lol first, Dar does not have a lot of tall buildings; second, the transportation system is different from our research.
