Eritrea has appointed its first ambbadador to neighboring Ethiopia in two decades, the government said on Saturday, as former enemies continued their rapprochement.

The job was entrusted to Semere Russom, current Minister of Education of Eritrea and former ambbadador to the United States, said on Twitter Minister of Information, Yemane Meskel.
