Habitat for Humanity Guam will build The non-profit organization will receive $ 199,000 from a grant from the Community Planning and Development Fund of the Department of Housing and Development Urban United States administered by the Housing and Urban Renewal Authority of Guam.

Aguon said that they have 10 families on a waiting list and additional funds would help.
Campos, who is a real estate agent, said that many local families face a crisis when it comes to housing.
The rental market is rising and it is difficult to build affordable housing in Guam "People do not build without making a profit, it does not work like that, but Habitat does it," says Campos.
Campos says Habitat for Humanity was able to build houses. She said the families Habitat works with are those who, even if they sacrifice a lot, still could not afford a home.
"We need more help. "We want to help more people," says Campos.
Katherine Taitano, GHURA's Planning Manager, said the agency would try to look into other areas where she could find additional money for Habitat for the future. ;humanity. .
