The Jubilee Party is in talks with four local universities to offer a political education where politicians looking for a position can first enroll.
Party secretary Raphael Tuju said yesterday that the party, in collaboration with the universities, had developed a program that would be used to teach those taking short courses. Those who go through the work will eventually be awarded certificates.
"We have a program ready. We will launch it soon. As a party, we feel it is our duty to redefine our policy, "Tuju said.
He added that the partnership with the universities would be part of their project to create a party academy where the ideals of the jubilee would be put forward.

This is part of the party's best practices at the African National Congress (ANC) in South Africa, where Jubilee stands out.
"We need to find a way to instil some values in leaders through political education," said Tuju, currently in South Africa for a new collaboration with the ANC.
