The "risen" man disappears, the church of Lukau changes pace in the middle of an investigation

South African pastor Alph Lukau's church has changed its tone after its "miracle" of resurrection in the midst of a survey conducted by Rights of Cultural, Religious and Linguistic Communities (CRL).

Alleluia Ministries International officials now claim that the "dead man", identified as a Zimbabwean named Brighton, was "already alive" when his "body" arrived on the church premises.

According to the church, Pastor Lukau had only "accomplished a miracle that God has already begun," reported Sowetan Live.

This comes in the middle of a CRL investigation into the "resurrection," said commission chairman Lukau, who was asked to explain.

"What we have decided is to allow an investigation under section 7. We will send a summons to Lukau and could call the funeral services where the person would have been detained.

"We need to know how long he stayed in a mortuary, who declared him dead and where the death certificate is," said Thoko Mkhwanazi-Xaluva, chairman of the CRL on Tuesday.

This comes after the disappearance of Brighton, the man who would have been resurrected by Lukau. according to Eyewitness NewsThe 29-year-old Zimbabwean, who was working for a lumber company in Pretoria, started working for the last time on 19 February.

Talk to the radio station 702 a correspondent who identified himself as Vincent claimed that it was not the first time that Brighton had been involved with Pastor Lukau.

Vincent, who claimed to be the owner of Vincent Amoretti PTY LTD, where Brighton worked, told the listeners that Brighton had already helped the pastor by claiming to be in a wheelchair and then getting up after Lukau prayed for him.
