Skal International, the world's largest badociation of hospitality managers, and Symphony of the Seas, the world's largest cruise ship, will host the 80th Annual Skal World Congress in 2019.
More than 1,200 travel industry professionals from around the world are expected to participate in this 7-night trip from Miami, Florida, USA on Saturday, September 14, 2019.
Kenya successfully hosted the 2018 Skal World Congress, called the Beach Convention at the Pride Inn Paradise Beach Resort Convention & Spa Center in Shanzu, Mombasa County.
Kenya's Coastal President, Skal, Victor Shitakah, said the country would definitely be represented at the event in the United States.

"We are looking forward to being on board the ship and keeping the Kenyan flag flying higher," said Shitakah, who is also Regional Director (Coast) of the Pride Inn hotel group.
Founded in 1932 in Paris, Skal brings together all branches of the tourism and travel industry to promote global tourism, business and friendship.
Skal, with 15,000 members in 359 clubs in 83 countries, is an international professional organization of travel leaders from around the world who come together to share, improve and connect their relationships, advice and ideas.
Skal International Miami was founded in 1950. It is the most diverse Skal club whose members reflect the vibrant cultures of the community of South Florida, Florida and all of the United States.

The route of the World Congress includes stops in Western Caribbean destinations, including Roatán in Honduras, Costa Maya and Cozumel in Mexico and CocoCay, a private island in the Bahamas.
