Two days of talks ended on Friday without any agreement. China's chief negotiator said the two sides would meet again in Beijing on an unspecified date, but warned that China would not make any concessions on "important principles".

Trump also said Saturday that companies could easily avoid additional costs by producing goods in the United States.
