The Criminal Investigations Directorate (DCI) has issued a strong warning to all learners in the country, warning them against any form of crime at school.
In an effort to stem the cases of misconduct educational institutions, the DCI says that it will be keeping criminal records of each student and the same will be reflected in certificates of good conduct issued by the police.
"This is to warn every student of elementary school, high school, college and university that the Criminal Investigations Branch is filing and consolidating charges that may be preferred to every student involved in a crime, "said the DCI in a statement released Sunday morning.
"That each student be informed that it will be automatically indicated on the police certificate (certificate of good conduct) when the student requests it.It will be a permanent criminal mark that will prevent many students from entering the school. to achieve their goals, because no valuable employer will dare to employ such characters. "
According to the ICD, offenses that could blacklist learners include: armed and non-reactive demonstrations, fires criminals, drug abuse, cyberbullying, badault, drunkenness and any other form of crime.

A majority of Kenyans on social media praised the DCI's move as a measure appropriate to quell the evil in the egg.
