A woman in China had her fingers pierced in the tail of a shrimp.

Wang, 60, who lives in Lianyungang, Jiangsu Province, recently stabbed his right hand on the prawn tail while washing the sea prawns to cook at his home.

Vibrio mushrooms live in water, sea water and grow when the water temperature rises. When the sea temperature is above 21 degrees Celsius, it increases up to 1 million times in 3 to 4 hours. Vibrio septicemia appears in full swing from May to June when the sea temperature exceeds 18 degrees. It is very likely that it will grow from August to September and will disappear after October.
Prevent Vibrio Sepsis
Vibrio parahaemolyticus causes food poisoning, while Vibrio vulnificus causes sepsis. The common pathway of Vibrio infection is seafood. It is infected when it eats raw fish or shellfish contaminated with bacteria or does not eat properly.
Enteritis Vibrio infections cause symptoms of diarrhea and vomiting with abdominal pain. Most of them will heal without special treatment. If diarrhea and vomiting are severe, fluid therapy and antibiotics can reduce the symptoms in a day or two.
Vibrio sepsis with a 50% mortality rate is dangerous. After 20 to 48 hours of incubation, the entire body is accompanied by severe inflammation and acute fever. In addition, the symptoms of abdominal pain and diarrhea, 36 hours after heat bleeding vesicles on the skin can also occur. Hypothermia and dyspnea also occur. Patients with chronic diseases such as liver and diabetic patients may have septic shock and should be more cautious.
