Mesut Ozil sent a message to Unai Emery a few moments after Arsenal's victory over BATE Borisov in the Europa League 32.
The winner of the German World Cup has found the starting lineup of the Gunners Thursday after being excluded from the group of countries organizing the first leg in Belarus.
Ozil proved fit to play the first leg and questions were raised as to why Emery left out the Gunners' highest paid player.
Thursday, before the return leg, Emery said the situation was in the hands of Ozil, suggesting that he should make the most of his opportunity when it came up.
Emery brought him back to the team for the 3-0 win at Emirates, but the German did not have the biggest match of his career despite the dominant result.
After the match, the German tweeted: "It's such a good feeling to come back on the pitch, excellent performance from the whole team."
Emery was questioned about Ozil during his post-match press conference and was satisfied with the way the midfielder played.
"Well, I told him to continue, to be available like today, like the last two weeks," Emery said. "Today, I'm happy, it was like what we expect from him."
