More dry days to come, tropical humidity midweek – Action News Jax

Jacksonville, Florida – Morning temperatures fell in the upper 60s inland and in the 70s on the coast. Today’s highs will rebound to the upper 80s inland and mid to upper 80s on the beaches. Action News Jax’s chief meteorologist Mike Buresh said we won’t see rain today.

Tomorrow it will be warm in the upper 80s in the afternoon with only a lone downpour or storm developing. We will likely see an increase in the humidity of the remains of “Nicholas” eventually as it moves slowly east over land this week.

There’s a lot to follow across the tropics and as threatening as the maps may seem, Buresh says none of the current systems will have a direct impact on Jacksonville. A disturbance is expected to develop this week about 200 miles northeast of Jacksonville and move north.

A tropical wave will move off the west coast of Africa and is expected to develop over the next few days moving westward.
