LISBON, MAINE, Maine – The city of Lisbon has turned to orange in the honor of a soda adored and sometimes despised!

The 37th edition of the Moxie Fest took place on Saturday.

According to organizers, nearly 60,000 people will travel to Lisbon for this year's extravagant event.

A special guest helped the city celebrate. Claudia Williams, daughter of Red Sox legend Ted Williams.

Williams says she's always wanted to visit the Moxie Fest, especially because her father was a former Moxie spokeswoman.

She chose the Moxie Fest to announce the opening of her new Bed and Breakfast in her childhood home in Vermont.

This is Splendid Splinter and will present tons of unpublished memories of Ted Williams.

According to Williams, Maine feels like a second home because she and her family have crossed it several times before going on a salmon fishing trip to Canada.
