A new NASA research team will be established this week in Silicon Valley to find a life beyond the Earth. She will seek concrete answers about how life began on Earth and where it could exist elsewhere.
The "Center for the Science of Life Detection" will be part of NASA's Ames Research Center in Mountain View, California, and will bring together a "new consortium of researchers" from NASA with expertise in the physical sciences , in biology, astrophysics and beyond. says the statement.

Investigators at the Georgetown Agnostic Biosignature Lab will examine "fingerprints of life" and try to recognize life "as we do not know it" in far-off lands where life could be very different from Earth's.
The Georgia Tech Oceans Across Space and Time team will study the likelihood of a past or present life in the icy, outer moons or on the ancient Mars of the solar system.
Over the coming year, dozens of teams will join this project, inspired by NASA's Nexus for System System Science project, designed to study the livability of distant planets. Ideally, the research groups would work hand-in-hand on future space conquests.
