The UN on Thursday sent 30 relief trucks to Idlib province in northwestern Syria.
The convoy crossed the Cilvegozu border gate in Reyhanli district, south of Hatay.
Some 600 tons of humanitarian aid will be distributed to needy people in Idlib and its rural areas.
Located near the Turkish border, the province of Idlib is home to more than three million Syrians, many of whom have fled to other cities as a result of attacks by regime forces.
Following a meeting last month in Sochi, a port city of Russia, between President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin, the two countries agreed to create the Idlib demilitarized zone.
Ankara and Moscow have also signed a memorandum of understanding calling for the "stabilization" of the Idlib de-escalation zone, in which acts of aggression are expressly prohibited.
