At least 10 people died in Indonesia after a powerful magnitude 6.4 earthquake hit the tourist island of Lombok and the National Disaster Agency is looking for more victims.
More than 40 people were injured, and many fled into open fields away from collapsed buildings.
Authorities expect to find more wounded people buried under rubble.
Shallow tremor was centered in the north of the island, 50 kilometers northeast of the main town of Mataram.
It was soon followed by a 5.4 magnitude replica centered in the same area.
The Indonesian Disaster Agency said that many homes and buildings had collapsed as a result of the earthquake and its aftershocks.
Landslides have perhaps also affected the Mount Rinjani National Park, a popular trekking destination. the earthquake was also felt in Bali, but no cases of damage were reported there
