The Bell Farms product is imported from Belgium and sold frozen in a 450g plastic bag in Countdown, SuperValue and FreshChoice supermarkets in New Zealand. The reminder covers all dates.
"Frozen vegetables generally do not pose a risk if they are cooked properly before eating them. It is particularly important to cook frozen vegetables before eating them if you are in one of the most vulnerable groups: the elderly , pregnant women, babies "If you are in this group, you have to take better care to cook the product well and not eat it frozen," she said.
