WASHINGTON, CMC – The Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) is urging Caribbean residents to be vaccinated against preventable diseases.
PAHO said that during the immunization week that runs from April 20 to 27, she hopes to reach the goal of vaccinating an estimated 70 million people in the Americas, including the Caribbean.
The initiative, promoted by PAHO since 2003, aims to raise awareness of the benefits of vaccines and protect people.
