The Peruvian Cancer Foundation (FPC) plans to collect 1.6 million soles, which will help pay for cancer patients.

The Peruvian Foundation Against Cancer (FPC) will hold on Wednesday, July 18 and Thursday, July 19 the Ponle Corazón Collection, a national campaign to raise funds to support patients with cancer.

This year, Ponle Corazón will have more than five thousand volunteers, who will have 19 thousand cans with which they will descend on the street, with the aim of raising 1, 6 million soles.

The collection represents a high percentage of the annual budget of the institution. With this money, the Peruvian Cancer Foundation helps cover the costs required to treat children, adolescents and adults who are treated by the National Institute of Neoplastic Diseases (INEN).

Among the expenses paid by the institution are those of accommodation, food, attention, transportation, operating expenses, drugs, examinations, prostheses, among others. Similarly, for provincial patients, the Foundation allocates amounts for travel expenses
