However, it would make sense for Game Freak to do everything possible next year. 2021 is the 25th anniversary of the Pokemon franchise, and Nintendo loves to celebrate big milestones by releasing massive amounts of content. This year should serve as an example as Nintendo released and announced several titles and crossovers to celebrate Mario 35th anniversary. Whether the remake is real or not, or for Diamond and Pearl, has not yet been announced. Either way, 2021 should be a big year for Pokemon in general.
