Police will not let Scottish McDonald sell milkshakes near the Brexit rally

Police have ordered a McDonald's from Edinburgh to stop selling milkshakes before a Brexit Party event on Friday, for fear that people will make them fall on Nigel Farage, Brexit leader.

There have been numerous incidents in which protesters snatched right-wing activists in shakes after the social media release of landfills earlier this month.

The police feared the protesters would buy milkshakes at Edinburgh's McDonald's for the sole purpose of pouring them on the Brexit leader's head. The McDonald's is located at just three football fields from where Farage will hold its next event.

A sign posted on McDonald's window said: "We will not sell milkshakes or ice cream tonight, this is due to a police request given the recent events."

While the news of McDonald's ban was reaching other fast food chains, Burger King was taking advantage of the drama and was posting on Twitter: "Dear people of Scotland, we sell milk hit all weekend, have fun, love BK.

Farage launched the Brexit Party in March this year and is now leading it to fight the European elections.
