Publix will open another round of recordings for appointments for the coronavirus vaccine in Florida after 7 a.m. EST Monday, according to the company’s website.

Appointments will be available online only and cannot be made over the phone. Last week, the company received more than 27,000 doses of vaccine from state and federal governments for distribution to nearly 600 sites in 41 counties in Florida.

The company’s vaccination efforts began with a pilot program in Florida at 22 stores starting Jan. 7, using the Moderna vaccine. The grocery chain has distributed 250,000 vaccines statewide and a total of 300,000 vaccines, including vaccines administered at its locations in Georgia, South Carolina and Virginia.

Those who receive their first dose of the vaccine through Publix will automatically be registered for a second dose at the same location four weeks later.

Vaccines will be provided at no cost to the patient. Those who receive their vaccine from Publix must bring their health insurance card or a red, white and blue Medicare Part B card. Patients without insurance must bring their driver’s license or social security number.
