Ubisoft has announced that, just like BioWare's Anthem, its next loot-oriented shooter, The Division 2, will be released at different times, depending on which version of the game you have pre-ordered. Although its release date is officially set for March 15, you can play several days earlier. If you go through Uplay, you will also be able to access the game at different times.
If you pre-order the standard version of The Division 2, the game will be available worldwide on Xbox One and PS4 on Friday, March 15 at 12 pm local time. Therefore, Australia and New Zealand get the first access and the last two. With Uplay PC, Division 2 will be playable on Thursday, March 14 at 22:00 (Paris time), March 15 to 1 hour East. The Uplay play time is 23 hours in the UK on March 14th and 12th in Australia on March 15th. So, in some areas only, Uplay gives you early access. A breakdown of times is given below.

If you pre-order the Gold or Ultimate edition of The Division 2, you'll have the game even sooner. Worldwide, these two editions are launched on Tuesday, March 12 at 12 pm local time, when you pre-order the Xbox One or PS4 versions, which again offer some countries faster access than others. Thanks to Uplay, the Gold and Ultimate Division 2 editions are playable March 11th at 10pm, March 12th at 1am, March 11th at 11pm in the UK and March 12th at 12pm in Australia. Despite the release of the game in some countries much earlier than others, the servers of The Division 2 will not be operational until March 12 at 12 pm local time. So, even though the game will be launched in some countries on March 11th – like the Gold and Ultimate editions in the UK – you will not be able to play until midnight tonight. Division 2 will be available on Xbox One, PS4 and PC. Originally planned for Steam, the PC version of the game will now be launched via Epic Games Store.
