Rarely have I encountered a letter to the editor dripping with such venom as in the Monday, September 20 edition. FYI, I didn’t know Tim Novak and I was vaccinated. However, I have no meanness towards people who choose not to be vaccinated. Can you blame them?
In March 2020, we were told not to wear a mask. A few months later, we are told one mask and then two masks. We were told to get vaccinated so that we wouldn’t have to wear masks. Now we have to start wearing masks again even though we are vaccinated.
We were initially told that the vaccine would prevent us from contracting the disease. Now they are telling us that we can still get the disease and even spread it after being vaccinated. How does that fit in with your inability to harm anyone, Mrs Wootten?
People are flocking across the southern border. They could be carriers of a number of diseases, including COVID 19. Our government does not appear to be affected by this at all. Only legitimate and salaried citizens of the United States should be covered by warrants.
This letter was a prime example of someone who wanted to demonstrate his moral superiority and combine it with some sort of condemnation for anyone who dared to question the word of the “experts.” “They chose not to be vaccinated. Let them choose to die too. Your righteousness is simply breathtaking.
